Optical Hand Art “Op Art”

3^rd Grade                                                                       Markers

 

Students learned about a variety of lines including horizontal and curved lines and discussed different uses for hand signals and sign language. Then students implemented their knowledge of Color Theory and Lines to create a 3-Dimensional optical illusion with their hands and chosen signals rising up from the background.
